Children in Hospital Receive Donated Toys

For a child, a visit to the Hospital can sometimes be unnerving or cause distress, especially while experiencing illness or disease.

The Superstore of Strathroy is helping to comfort kids who must have surgery during the first few weeks of March 2007 by giving them a stuffed animal or pillow toy to help them feel a little more at ease.

Travis Ford, Leisure Manager of Strathroy Superstore decided to make the donation of stuffed animals to the Hospital because he felt it would help make a difference to children having surgery by brightening their day a little.
