Old Tyme Heritage Group Makes $1660 Gift
October 22, 2009
SMGH Foundation is grateful to the Heritage Old Tyme Fiddlers for generously donating $1,660.36 to purchase new apnea equipment for Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. This equipment measures a patient’s breathing pressure and snoring frequency to help diagnose sleep breathing disorders.
Thanks to all of the Old Tyme dancers who without their support, it would not be possible for this special gift. The group has been playing together for 28 years and have donated almost $60,000 to a number of charities in the region. The musicians are proud to play at the dances for no charge and donate profits.
Upcoming dances will be held in Coldstream at the Community Centre on March 18, April 15, and May 20th. Dances will also be held in Appin on April 2 and May 7th. All start at 8:00pm.
