Lions Help with CT Scanner Campaign
The
Strathroy Lions Club continues to be a strong supporter of the hospital.
The Club recently made a donation of $10,956 to help with the Foundation's
fundraising campaign to pay for the hospital's new state-of-the-art
CT scanner.
The funds donated represented a portion of the proceeds from the
2007 Strathroy Hometown Turkey Festival. Below

chairman Ed Stevens with the donation.

The
Club has donated over $60,000 in total to the hospital since 1995,
funding various needs. This includes generous support during the
Building Together Campaign when new waiting rooms in both Emergency
and Ambulatory Care Departments were built.
In 2001 the
Club raised over $21,000 from a fundraiser and bingo event to support
Palliative Care.
