Donation
Made in Honour of New Minnema Poultry Chicken Barn
July
3, 2008
Normally
when a business opens a new building, they like to host an open
house to celebrate. However, when Rein Minnema of Minnema Poultry
constructed a new 120' x 420' broiler barn, he decided that in honour
of the special occasion, he wanted to donate to the CT scanner campaign
at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital .
Altogether,
Minnema Poultry raised over $5000 for the CT scanner. Many Minnema
Poultry suppliers made donations including: W. Murray Clark Limited,
Shur-Gain, Farm Credit Canada , Maple Leaf Poultry, Chicken Farmers
of Ontario, Precision Concrete, GLR Tucking & Excavating, Union
Gas, Robert J. Spence Construction, Dortman Bros. Electrical, Robert
G. Waters, Micro City Engineering, DBMC Consulting, Sydenham Community
Credit Union, Timmerman Drainage, McNaughton Home Hardware and Tim
March Well Drilling.
Minnema
Poultry is proud to have opened their new barn while supporting
the hospital's new CAT scan service that is important to so many
residents in our region. Thanks to the Minnema family for their
generosity.
