Poppy Fund

Tuesday, April 17, 2018

On April 17, 2018 the Royal Canadian Legion Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116 Strathroy Poppy Fund, presented $5,000 to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation. This generous gift will be used to replace and upgrade the Pulmonary Function Testing System and Lung Function Analyzer used by the Respiratory Services Clinic at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital (SMGH).

“SMGH Foundation is grateful to Branch 116, Poppy Fund, for it’s donation. The Pulmonary Function Testing System is a machine that performs a group of tests that determine how well a patient’s lungs are functioning.” says Susan McLean, SMGH Foundation CEO. “This vital equipment is used for testing many veterans and seniors in our local community.”
