Royal
Red Hatters of Strathroy Donate to CT Scanner
The
Red Hatter Ladies of Strathroy know something about fun as members
fondly refer to themselves as a group that encourages fun, creativity
and friendship.

General Hospital. |
You
can see it in their red hats, purple attire and spirit of having
a good old time. The ladies love to get together to have fun and
normally don't embark on fundraising projects.
However,
in 2007 the group held a “Building Memories” Gala at the local Legion
in Strathroy on Sept 25. The gala was held in memory of Cora Waterman-Wood
who passed away earlier in the year and was a long-time member of
the Royal Red Hatters.
155
red hat members from across the region attended the event which
included an auction of red hat items, many of which had belonged
to Cora. Ticket sales from the event totaling over $2500 were then
donated to support the Strathroy Hospital CT scanner Campaign.
