$5,150
in donations was raised through the Strathroy Shoppers Drug Mart
Tree of Life Campaign. Customers generously made donations to show
their support for healthcare and additional funds were raised through
in-store fundraisers run by employees. Proceeds were donated to
Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation.
The
campaign, which ran over four weeks, offered customers the opportunity
to purchase and personalize their own paper “leaf” for a loonie,
“maple leaf” or an “apple”. Each “leaf” sold represented a
donation to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation and
become part of the store's Tree of Life display, which filled the
wall at Strathroy Shoppers Drug Mart.
