A respected and deeply admired Specialist in Internal Medicine, Dr. Sanders dedicated his career to caring for patients, supporting colleagues, and serving our community with compassion, curiosity, and excellence. Known for his extraordinary intellect, kindness, and commitment to “saving lives and curing disease,” Dr. Sanders left a lasting impact on SMGH and on the countless people whose lives he touched.
Be part of this special gathering, as we recognize the memorial donations collected by the MHA General Medical Staff in Dr. Sanders’ honour with a plaque outside the Stress Test Lab, creating a lasting tribute to his legacy of care.
This year’s SMGH Foundation Golf Tournament will also honour Dr. Sanders and raise funds for a new Pulmonary Function Machine for Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Community members are invited to continue celebrating Dr. Sanders’ legacy by joining us on the course and/or making a donation in support of this important equipment.
