SMGH Auxiliary Gears Up for Annual Christmas Open House

The halls of Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital will soon be filled with festive cheer as the dedicated volunteers of the SMGH Auxiliary prepare to host their much-anticipated Christmas Open House from Wednesday, December 3 to Friday, December 5.

The Auxiliary has been working tirelessly behind the scenes for weeks to bring this beloved event to life. From assembling holiday wreaths to curating winter accessories, stocking stuffers, and unique gift items, their team has poured heart and energy into creating a beautiful shopping experience for the community.

Shoppers can expect great deals on a wide selection of Christmas décor, cozy winter wear, and thoughtful gifts — perfect for checking off holiday lists while supporting local healthcare.

“All proceeds from the Christmas Open House directly support the purchase of equipment at SMGH,” said Jane Lumsden, Auxiliary President. “Our volunteers have put so much love into preparing for this event, and we can’t wait to welcome the community.”

The event will take place in the SMGH Auditorium, located by the Main Entrance, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day. Community members, hospital staff, and visitors are encouraged to stop by, enjoy some festive spirit, and find something special — all while helping support the hospital.
