We’re proud to share an exciting update from the Bill & Lynne Gray L.H. Gray & Son Limited Diagnostic Imaging Department, featuring the Marilyn Buttery Lynne Lawrence CommonWealth Financial MRI Suite, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital!

YOU ARE MAKING A MEASURABLE IMPACT

Thanks to your incredible support, the new MRI scanner at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital continues to make a measurable impact since becoming operational.

MRI Stats as of June 2025
MRI Stats as of June 2025

In its first few months, the scanner completed 660 scans over 550 clinical hours—an impressive indicator of sustained demand and meaningful results.

Appointments are being scheduled well in advance. Urgent appointments remain available to ensure patients with pressing needs are seen without delay.

The most common MRI scans performed to date fall into four main categories: 57% Neuro (including head, neck, and spine), 24% Musculoskeletal (MSK) (covering all extremities), 18% Body, and 1% Breast.

This broad range of scans highlights the versatility of our MRI suite and the diverse diagnostic needs we’re now able to meet—right here in our community.

Patients of all ages are benefiting, with the majority between 51 and 70. From young adults to seniors, this suite is improving access to high-quality, close-to-home imaging and reducing the need to travel.

Together, we've raised $5.4M towards our $8M goal!

Because of your generosity, hundreds of patients in our community have already benefited from faster diagnoses, reduced travel, and compassionate, close-to-home care. Behind every scan is a story—of comfort, relief, and hope. This MRI suite is more than a machine; it’s a testament to what we can achieve together. This is the power of philanthropy. Thank you for your continued help in making this vision a reality.

Your ongoing support is transforming lives every single day.
